The Ease and Convenience of Magnetic Jewelry Clasps
Nothing is worse than getting ready in the morning and struggling to put on your favorite piece of jewelry. If you’ve ever seen the infamous episode of Sex and The City when Samantha Jones struggles to put on her diamond bracelet and it falls to pieces, then you will appreciate the convenience of a magnetic jewelry clasp. Having the ease of connecting two ends together definitely beats the misery of feeling alone in the world!
Basically, a magnetic jewelry clasp includes two parts that are held together by magnetic attraction and released from each other by pulling them apart to break the magnetic attraction. The best part is that these clasps are strong and secure and you do not have to worry about your necklace or bracelet just falling off.
Magnetic Jewelry clasps are a tremendous innovation to regular “lobster claw” clasps. Anyone who has used a regular claw-type clasp has experienced the annoying pain that comes along with it. Your thumb can start hurting, your arms can get tired, your hair can get stuck in it, etc! Without a mirror, it is virtually impossible to put on a short necklace with a traditional clasp. A few months ago I had found a necklace I wanted to wear for my wedding but the item had sold out. I ended up buying a somewhat similar item but not quite the same. The one I had originally wanted just came back in stock and I am not sure if I should get it. The necklace I already have is this one http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/MADDY-EMERSON-GENUINE-FRESHWATER-3-ROW-W-FLOWER-CAMEO-CLASP/2896595/product.html it can be worn twisted as shown or laying flat. I really do like the necklace but am worried about it looking heavy with my strapless straight top fitted gown. Should I get it or just stick with what I have? It is not to expensive but I can always find a use for another $55.
Also does anyone know a good site for yellow gold bridesmaid jewelry, really any yellow gold jewelry at all.
Fallow your gutt feeling! When I got married my wedding dress jewelary did NOT flow with my dress. The earrings did not match with the necklace & the design clashed with the beed design in my dress. I wish I would have had better help when picking out the jewelary. I was really unhappy with the look in all my wedding pictures. Good luck.
